megan’s dinosaur

this evening, after fetching megan from her cc (of course, another tearing day for her), she was there playing with her mega blocks while singing a new song!

“haryen biss is holding oun, holding oun, holding oun… ai bear airdi…”

if not for the rhythm that goes with it, i couldn’t actually made it out to be:

“london bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down… my fair lady…”

 

great! another new song learnt from school… and so, i continued watching tv and suddenly megan called me “daddy, daddy… dinosaur… aHHHH!”

i was wondering, what has obama talking on tv news got to do with dinosaur and when i turned and looked…

megan’s 8th day at childcare

as usual, morning dropoff, she cried… evening pickup, she cried… but what’s so special today on megan’s 8th day at childcare? well, for some reasons…

1. over the past few days, we realised megan actually sang some songs that we didn’t introduced to her… songs like “are you sleeping”, thou not able to get the pronunciation correctly, but we’re still able to make out the song…

2. she is able to say (but not counting) one to ten, and 一到十 more clearly… and tonight, she said 十一!

3. today, she is having a new classmate (finally, she is not alone). and when we read her comm book, megan’s teacher wrote that megan helped to calm the new girl… my goodness, i wonder how she actually help… haa…

4. and the most important part, she is trying to tell us about her day in school today! from what we are getting from megan, we think she is trying to tell us a teacher scolded a older kid today in school… this is what she said “少师少师, beat beat”

 

we’re so proud of megan, and we’re hoping she can pass the crying part soon… as joelle was telling megan this evening, “baby, don’t cry when you go to school k? daddy 心力焦脆”.

i think joelle meant that look i had after dropping megan and on our way to work…

megan had been bugging us to play this hi5 dvd given to her from her nanny… finally she got her wish and we played it… guess what? so she is dying to show us she know this song… there she goes…
