joelle emailed me this afternoon saying she found someone’s photo on the web… and wanted me to go take a look at the confinement agency’s website… and even pointed out image 34… and this is what i got!

immediately, the muscles on my cheeks reacted, and forcefully curved and bended my lips into a U shape… k lah, in short, i’m smiling…

my goodness me… back then, megan is so helpless… 

and now, she is making us helpless… haa…

hope we can get back the same confinement nanny from the agency… :P

this morning, woke up with a bad headache… all i can say is… 自找的... oh well, had a all men’s nite out on friday evening as one of our last few bachelor (albert) is getting married soon…

as a family man, of course visa application had to be made… and since i wasn’t informed of the details, i thot its only a dinner gathering for albert… and in the end, they were all talking about where to drink…

of course, when would this group never want to drink… and hence, we ended up at the railway mall, at least near all of our place… and i had to go back home to make sure joelle and megan are settled, then go out again to meet them… and only after 2am, i got home… tipsy… :P

anyway, this morning got to go view a childcare center for megan… yup, we’re looking for a center for megan… after which, we found this little playground near the childcare…

its this kind of smiles, that really helps to put away all worries and troubles… even i got to rush back home to make sure she sleep before going out again for a drink… and even thou its the first time this year i’ve made time for a drink… and even thou the next day got to get up despite the headache…

that smile, just put everything else away liao…

oh ya, had been watching 企鹅爸爸 on miotv… great drama… coming soon on 8… dad these days, not easy leh…

during one of the weekdays, we went for our first detail scan… which is for the down's syndrome risk assessment… during the scan, baby is lying face down inside joelle’s tummy… and just as soon as the imagine of our baby is shown on the monitor lying facing down, baby turned and started moving and kicking…

we were told by the scanographer that our baby is kinda very active and baby’s size is kinda big and long… and a more accurate EDD is estimated, 4th may 2010… i was like… funny, megan’s 4th april… this one’s 4th may… :P

anyway, its really great to see our baby in great details…

recently, we bought a scaring chicken for megan… ok, its actually my idea… once we realised megan is terrified by the funny sounding chicken sold at those cute-cute shops… and since rudolph couldn’t does its job, the orhorh chicken took over rudolph place and started ‘protecting’ our kitchen from megan’s rampage…

megan is absolutely terrified by the sound the orhorh chicken makes… here it goes… warning, its disgusting… Orrrhhhhh…

and off we went to have our ‘mushroom’ heads cut… joelle can’t stand megan’s long and messy hair anymore… and mine… :P

while we were watching tv at the living room, megan suddenly stood up, reached out for joelle’s hand, and wanted joelle to led her to our bedroom… once there, she ‘hopped’ onto our bed and got herself ready to sleep…

that was the first time megan actually did that… let see if she does the same tonight…

its really amazing to see how fast she is growing…

during the weekends, we stayed over at mil’s place… and brought megan down to run about at the void deck…

then she realised that her ah-beng dad was sitting at the curb and decided to join me… aiyo, so unglam lor…

and she can get really unglam when she is home…

so long she is happy… and we’re happy too, when we found her doing all these funny things…

oh ya, joelle is going back to work tomolo… her morning sickness? still not over yet… haiz…

i’m calling out to her colleagues, please help to take care of joelle when she is at work k? help her to buy bfast and lunch… help her to get the printouts from the copiers, help her to make hot drinks and bring her biscuits, massage her legs when it cramps… ok, think i’m asking too much liao… :P

my many many thanks to all friends who express their concern over joelle… we really appreciate your concern very much, we’ll take good care and be strong…

now we are getting everyone confused and worried… let’s flash back a little… back to early sept, joelle is already not feeling well, loss of appetite, keep feeling tired and nauseous… so, on the 10th of sept, we visited our family doc and took a little test…

2 years ago… the same doc, congrated us… and now, the same doc congrats us once more… yes, we’re expecting our second one… our respond was like…

nevertheless, we went to joelle’s gynae the next day and this is how our second one look like… can’t see much thou, but its already 0.30cm… next year, May… come to think about it, its really 老虎老鼠,傻傻分不清楚!

in the next few weeks till today and 5 minutes ago, joelle had been hit by morning sickness… puking and tiredness… hungry but no appetite… eat but vomit… this time, it is much more difficult than 2 years ago… and joelle had been taking MC and HL for the past 3 weeks, staying at home to rest… and me, had been worrying sick and having my energy level draining out dry… i’m beginning to look like this:

no wait, i am already looking like this!

and of course, i searched the whole web to find out how to prevent/avoid/cure joelle’s morning sickness… all don’t work lor… our cute gynae, doc adrian, can only tell us its like that one… oh well… as usual, he said “eat something, vomit something, at least still got something inside lor…” “babies are like parasites, mummy don’t eat also can grow one” “as usual lah, baby ok, mummy not ok lah…” “keep having salvia? no choice lah, like that one lah, got to keep spitting out lah, just make sure police don’t catch lor…”

and how right he is, in just 2 weeks, we are seeing head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes… ok lah, no knees and toes yet lah… but definitely tiny stubs developing into hands and legs… 2.24cm

thou the puking seems to get a little lesser, joelle’s starting to eat a little, mil is getting worried and wanted us to ask doc adrian to see if joelle need to go hospital for the drips… which helps one of joelle’s relative who also had bad morning sickness…

doc adrian wasn’t really encouraging but wasn’t discouraging either… so in the end, its still up to us to decide whether to go or not to go… and, we didn’t go… to me, i think its very demoralising to stay in hospital, so i’m kinda on the discouraging side… and we got our baby scanned in every visits… 3.34cm

and during the scan, joelle exclaimed “B, baby 的脚在踢!” and i was like “wow, 真的leh, 在踢wor!!!” thou in my mind, i was thinking to myself “kaoz, its doc adrian’s scanner moving around lah…” (haa, hope joelle don’t see this…)

so what about megan? of course we are telling her everyday that she is going to have a sibling soon… and until recently, she reached for joelle’s tummy when we ask her “baby where?”…

and her answer to everyone’s fav question to her “要弟弟还是妹妹?” and she would said “弟弟啊~~~”

and the most funny thing is… sometimes megan will look at joelle and mimic puking sounds…

once again, thanks to all… we’ll be strong!
