一早起来, 就看见家里的小小电视迷...

i must bring her there every weekend… if possible…

cuz, she really love going to playgrounds… this time round, she is much more ready to ‘take on’ the playground… (not like last time), and look! its that blue dino again!!

 

its this kind of smiles on her face that really makes my day…

gosh, her cheeky look again…

and of course, we don’t do that rolling down from slide stunt anymore… its all assisted sliding… and she enjoys it…

awww… that look again…

and she don’t behave like a 13 month old lor… challenging every steps and every corners by herself, making our hearts dropped every time when it looks like she’s falling… but she managed to regain balance by herself… i guess, thats what they say learn-thru-play…

 

little one really enjoyed herself… and she’s sweaty all over when we decided to call it a day…

 

ok, not really call it a day thou, its actually starting our day with our fav bfast… :P

 

seeing how much she enjoyed herself, i got to make it a point to wake up early on sundays to bring her out to the playground…

i get entertained by her,

whenever she does this...



but sometimes, i do get pretty angry with megan, especially when she started throwing tantrums when we refused to give something that she wanted...

and i realised, i have been scolding, caning (no child abuse going on here thou) and giving megan angry looks pretty often these few days... cuz the little one knows she can get things done her way by throwing tantrums!

just last nite, after taking the video of her dancing, we showed it to her, and she got excited and wanted to see it over and over... i only asked her to wait while i took over the camera and there she goes again... wailing like a spoilt child... so i looked at her sternly, and say "NO MORE" and kept the camera away, leaving her tearing...

i really need to be firm on this... can't have a spoilt child running loose... and why me? cuz my parents can't discipline megan, they will give in whenever she throw tantrums... and so, the little smart cheeky one always go out of control whenever my parents are around...

and joelle? megan 都不把她放在眼里lor... haha~~~

today marks a special day for us,

cuz my little brother is getting married! omg, i just realised i can’t refer to him as my little brother anymore!! can’t imagine that little boy whom i brought out with me to catch spiders and always me kanna-ing big one from our dad whenever we came back with my little brother injured… he just love falling down whenever we’re out catching spiders… or rather, i keep being careless for not keeping a watchful eye over him… haa…

anyway, he don’t need me to keep watchful eye over him anymore… and now he is taking care of another person! yup, irene’s that lucky girl my brother is marrying… in fact, i think my brother is luckier to marry irene… haha…

and its indeed a very happy day for me, seeing that little boy becoming man today… i wish the beautiful couple, a wonderful beginning to a wonderful and rewarding blissful marriage… here’s the photos to share…

the nite before, megan is ‘assigned’ the secret task to jump onto the couple’s new bed… you know, for tradition sake… :P

 

and in the morning, off we went to my parent’s place waiting for the couple’s arrival… joelle and me were very nervous, cuz its our first “tea drinking” ceremony!! :P

 

didn’t take any photo of the day’s event… anyway, went back home to have a quick nap and then getting ourselves ready for the wedding dinner…

joelle’s making for the nite… after getting ourselves dressed and groomed, we looked at each other and

我说“十三个月来, 你终于又漂亮了!”

她说“十三个月来, 你终于又英俊了!”

i’m sort of caught in a corner only managed to get a view of my nervous looking mum… who looked pretty serious… oh, is she wiping teardrop? keke…

once again, blissful marriage to the young couple…

today marks another special day of ours…

and its our 13th anniversary… 恶心 right? 13 years le wor… haa…

nevertheless, we managed to find time after work to have a valuable time together for a dinner before going back to fetch megan…

happy anniversary dear, hope you post the photos soon… haha…

had been quiet these few days,

cuz we were tiring ourselves out taking care of megan… after her dreadful fever subsided, she is down with flu… more of coughing to runny nose… and over the past few nites, we had been waking up whenever she coughs… we’re so worry of her choking on her phlegm…

and we were supposed to have a gathering at teresa’s place… and we’re crossing our fingers, hoping she can recover by sat… but she didn’t… so sorry… :P

anyway, besides being sick, megan doesn’t look sick… she is still active as ever… thou her parents were so sleep-deprived…

oh ya, last nite something amazing happened… megan is sleep-talking again… while feeding her midnight feed, megan dozed off without finishing her milk… and while she is sleeping, she suddenly said…

“bear bear…”

“bye bye…” (while waving her hand)

“mmmmm…muck” (while blowing air-kiss with her hand)

she rolled over to joelle, rolled back to me, and then…

“papa… papa…”

i think… that nite i slept smiling the whole nite… :)

 

and today, i let megan play on her own, while i hide away taking photo of her…

as she grow taller, climbing up the bed is no sweat to her…

after a moment of activeness, she suddenly stopped moving and just stand there… then she turned and gave me this look… the all so familiar dad-i-poo look…

after having her butt cleaned… she is back to her active mode again…

oh, did i mention? megan can get up and stand on her own already… usually it only last a short moment, but if something caught her attention, like rain’s concert or yoyo-tv, she can stand there for a pretty long time… as for walking, she having master the trick yet, but could hastily walk a few steps towards us… the highest record so far is 7 steps…

now… she is switched to the hungry mode… she decided to check if her lunch is ready…

 

i think she know how to play with her toys nowadays… to her, toys used to be for making sounds by banging them together, now different toys seems to be played differently… for example, this is for cooking and eating…

in fact, she had this box of plastic blocks that she love throwing them all over the floor… and everytime, i got to pick them up, then she went over to throw everything out again… and it goes on and on…

recently, she begin throwing the blocks and picking them back to the box… i think, she is learning things by watching what we did… and she know how to point out at eyes and nose…

and that brings me to realise something… i should stop swearing in front of megan liao… oops… :P

we dropped by the playground while on our way to mil’s place… mgean is so deprived of it for 2 weeks since she had fever last week and cough this week…

 

that concludes our tiring week…

and to my mum, joelle’s mum, megan’s mum and all mums, happy mother’s day…
