and our version of megan…

 

can tell who draw what?

went suntec on a very very early sat morning… we planning to shop and then head over to shu lynn’s place for a little dinner gathering… and we’re so early that none of the shops opened, and so, we went for a little walk before heading for our bfast…

after our porridge bfast, we started our shopping day but first, lets get megan to pose for us with the nonya exhibition…

thot its going to be a great day… but it turned out worst… first, i’m having this stupid runny nose, that’s bothering me the whole day sniffing and sniffing and using up all our tissue paper…

then while feeding megan at suntec, she puked… massive puke somemore… joelle was so dampened that we decided to head home… while on the cabby ride, megan puked again…

we then realised, megan is ok, just that she is teething and her gums were itching like hell, especially at the back of her mouth… so she would extend her fingers deep into her mouth, trying to reach the itchy part of her gums, and hence inducing vomiting…

anyway, we managed to make it to shu’s place, despite myself still having a little runny nose… once we’re there, megan is being ‘invited’ to … you know, to bounce on the bed of the newly wed couple… megan seems a little confused and shy for a while… but believe me, she got familiar and wasn’t like the first 2 shots after a while…

 

shu and marcel got a great place with great reno… the living room is, humongous… megan had a great time crawling all over…

so, while those who know their way around the kitchen help out in the kitchen, me and megan laze and camwhore in the living room… gosh, my reindeer nose…

 

 

megan and her new-found stunt… she kept doing this nowadays… almost seems like she is saying “hey, say hello to my bu…”

 

this is the humongousitiness of the living room… (is there such a word?)

 

i down know why the girls like the kitchen, maybe i’ll scream if its full of heineken beers… it only be heineken, anyway… :P

 

here’s our dinner!

 

no time to snap, time to eat… after dinner, megan took a short nap and when she woke up, she started doing her stunt…

 

then we decided to explore shu’s piano… look a megan, i think she is interest… or at least, seems to look interested…

 

 

 

we managed to get (force actually) grace and shu to play us a tune…  and they did a duet of the heart and soul… nice… if only we opened some red wine to go along… hee…

oh ya, i hope rach uploaded the I NEED A SCORE video up on her bloggie…

and then, did i mentioned megan got familiarised? in fact, she got even more familiarised with marcel…

 

shu and marcel just can’t get their hands off megan… anyway, we heard the bells, hope the crane coming soon with their bundle…

lastly, we got ourselves posing for a group photo… after some tries running to and back from the camera’s timer…

we got the perfect shot!

 

thanks to shu and marcel for the marvellous dinner and hangout…

 

and today, we couldn’t got anywhere cuz megan is down with fever… the side effect from her MMR vaccine… nothing much we can do, just got to ride it out…

anyway, joelle made these for our afternoon snacks…

 

 

gosh, we should have more of these snacks… both are my fav… baked salmon and baked potato… :9

so looking forward to the I NEED A SCORE video clips… :P

went for a little walk along the old abandoned road beside kranji camp… which was just across the road from my place… later then i found out, that road actually had a name on street directory, lorong bistari!

anyway, there is this huge grass patch where the minosa are in full blossom… it ain’t easy walking thru these minosa field on my sandals… but its worth it to get these shots…

 

and some other plants that i don’t know what they were…

 

 

 

 

and these teeny weeny itsy bitsy flowers are so difficult to shoot… my arms got so achy after trying to hold the camera steady… if its not my hands, then its the wind… finally settled myself with this…

 

its also a great sunny saturaday after a little rain… and the insects were out and active… so, only managed to get shots of those who ‘pose’ for me…

老伯... i felt his loneliness… and i think, its time for me to go home…

 

had a great walkie… here’s me and my eos…

went back office to work last nite after 11pm till this morning 3am then reached home… haiz, sometimes i wonder, do i hate my job or do i hate working in pb…

anyway, this morning, brought megan to the clinic for her MMR vaccine… we found out that there is a MMR + chicken pox vaccine and decided to go for it, so megan don’t need to get poked another time for the chicken pox vaccine… be it one less needle, one needle today is enuff for megan to scream her head off… ouch…

after we were back home, i went out for a walkie… something i haven’t been doing for ages… also a chance to bring my canon out to ‘see the world’… here’s some of the shots i took… more will come after editing is done…

came back home and dinner is served! guess where we ordered these?

okie dokie, time to open up some tibits and watch 我猜 now… :)

i did mentioned we bought some books for megan during my last post eh? but did i mentioned we bought over $50?? oh well, we just couldn’t resist the colourfulness of these books, especially this 4 books in 1 box thingy…

 

this evening, megan’s nanny showed us this video she took… we then realised, that we made the right choice putting megan in the right hands… she is so happy and joyous with her nanny during the daytime… and with megan being more mobile now, she can dance better this time… with more moves! this was then when megan still using the walker…

now, without walker, she is showing us that she think she can dance… and really well somemore… gosh, where she learn these moves from?

we were on a day mc today… recently, both of us having aching backs… and it was so painful for me last nite, that i decided to go see a doc…

after doc’s diagnose, joelle’s back ache is caused by lacking of calcium. during her pregnancy, megan had taken away most of joelle’s calcium and hence, leaving behind a aching back for joelle…

for me? thou there is no baby to take away my calcium level, i’m still having aching back… all because of lacking of exercise… ever since my last ippt, i haven’t run or exercise for 1 year plus le…

i guess, both of us really need to do something to ourselves… haiz, only 32 yet having a body of 52… kaoz…

 

anyway, we bought some books for megan after seeing the doc… and we setup this table for megan… it was hand-me-down from megan’s nanny… we never really used it as it was too big for megan…

 

 

it is still too big for megan… maybe got to wait a little longer…

is diner… or rather, dinner… finally, something i call food!!!

 

my tongue? recovered lor… :P

and megan is very excited about it… of course, after being ‘grounded’ for a few weeks, we’re finally going out today… btw, megan seems to have recovered from her coughs and my tongue is repairing itself well… minus joelle who’s still midway thru her 百日咳...

anyway, we’re going suntec today… i wanna look for a pair of sunglasses, joelle wanna buy some tops and megan wanna… or rather, megan don’t wanna stay at home anymore…

after visiting some shops, i kinda having my eyes fixed on ray-ban glasses. no rush to buy, so see see look look first lah… after that, its joelle’s turn to shop, while megan and me camwhores… :P

 

 

omg, megan and joelle looked thin after being tormented by their cough spells… omg, i kinda looked ‘grown’, ‘fed’ and ‘excess’… ok, i admit, i’ve grown fat… something must be done someday… maybe tomolo, or the day after… :P

oh well, something i see in common between the girls… kaoz…

 

买东西吃东西嘛. 买完东西就去吃东西咯! after everyone is happily satisfied with shopping, off we go for our dinner at crystal jade…

 

this is one nice spicy tasty stirred fried long beans with meat… megan, being a LOK, of course have no problem with spicy stuffs! spicy long beans? no problem!

spicy meat? also no problem!

 

after makan, we did a little more walk about, and we found megan having this irresistible fatal attraction to hello kitty thingy… and she would go “kitty… kitty…”

 

however, i do agree she’s saying it almost sounding like “titty”… anyway, megan is really enjoying herself with all the rides she found at the 3rd floor…

 

which of course, we went up to 3rd floor to use the baby changing room… and something horrifying happened and i don’t wanna go into the details… megan needs to increase her fibre intake and we decided to get some yogurt for her… ASAP!

and while we’re on our way to carrefore for the yogurt, we were discussing about the ‘ordeal’ in the changing room, using this particular word that literally means human wastes… ok, we’re saying sh*t in front of megan…

it don’t sound like a bad idea saying it in front of her, until megan suddenly said it!!! thou it sounds like “share”…  but it comes right after i said sh*t… but i actually meant sheet… whatever… :P

 

what best to end the day? a relaxing drink and a sinful food for my sweet tooth…

my all time fav, latte + cheese cake… oooh laa laa…

 

 

sometimes i wonder, how do i actually get fat???

i guess, my body decided to give signs of warning after not having enuff sleep for few nites… i couldn’t sleep well ever since megan was down with flu, and for the first few nites, we kept waking up whenever she coughs, fearing she could choke by her phlegm…

what sign of warning am i getting then? instead of ulcer in the mouth, i’m getting tears on my tongue… where the tip of the tongue felt like being slit by a penknife… yup, its darn ouchy… and just can help nimble at the torn part of the tongue and feeling that extreme pain… i think i’m crazy… anyway, no more heaty food for me liao…

 

bad daddy? yup, bad daddy… feeling down and easily annoyed with the bad tongue of mine, i decided to have a ‘peaceful’ dinner by releasing the ruthless rednose reindeer… remember this?

last year, we realised megan is afraid of this reindeer… and so, rudolph was condemned to stay inside the storeroom, until tonight… look at her, she’s terrified!

 

in the end, she is so terrified that she cried… and i got to go over to ‘save’ her… and there goes my stupid idea of wanting a ‘peaceful’ dinner… i guess, i can’t think properly with a bad tongue…

but thats not the end of rudolph! its not condemned back to the storeroom yet… instead, its ‘tasked’ with a mission to ‘guard’ the kitchen…

now megan can’t play with the oven, open and close the drawers, explore the dustbin and play with the water in the well… yup, the toilet bowl…

 

i’m really a bad daddy with a bad tongue… and, who knows how to draw as well…

 

 

ouch, darn tongue still hurts… grrr…

when we know those little things that we shown and taught megan over and over for such long time, days, weeks and even months, and she really learnt those little things…

she even developed interest in story books, especially the 3 little pigs… in the past, she used to flip the books by herself, until recently, she is choosing the book, and bringing it to us, wanting us to read to her… of course, 3 little pigs being the popular choice of hers…

she is learning things pretty fast from us, be it deliberately or not… we (me and joelle) are calling each other “b”… and megan is saying “b” as well… and you know, its a guy thing to flick those little bugs we found at home right out of the windows (negative demonstration, i know… i’ll try to change… try…) and megan would mimic my action of throwing towards the windows, and say “throw…”

yup, she know how to say throw… and many many words too… like one to five, never being to six thou… objects she sees and uses everyday like ball, cat, dog, cow, duck, shoe, etc… so i took a little clip of her saying those words, reckoning never to hear it when she grow up…

 

oh ya, didn’t i mention? megan is down with fever, flu and cough… her fever had subsided, but we are left with the buggy flu and cough to deal with… these, making megan unable to sleep well during the nite when the coughing spell hits her…

and of course, taking its toll on both of us… (hope she get well soon…)
