canal walkie

warning... there's alot alot of photos today... and i really meant alot of photos wor... since joelle is working today, i decided to take a little walk along the canal behind my place, i think its called sungai kadut... planned to go in the afternoon, cuz i really need to sweat it out... was so hectic at work these few days and even got rest, still feel so tired... so i guess i'm only emoti-hectic and not physic-hectic... so, i need to sweat it out... but late morning, the sky seems so cloudy wor... making me worried...

so i bring out the fan, and blow blow the clouds away... keke

and it worked! the sun is coming out again!

thats the canal i'm conquering later...

i'm all set and ready to move out... time now 1pm, lets go!

but wait... got one thing need to settle first...

my stomach... hee... :P

after lunchie, headed straight to the starting point, at the stagmont ring... intended to go to the railway track, but its a bit out of the way, so just go on to the canal...

alrighty, the starting point... a bit the dry... keke

here we are, the 'wetter' part of the canal... nothing much to see also, so i just snap the mrt track that ran over the cannal, before crossing the road over to the 'hot zone'... where there's no shelter or whatsoever... its very very hot from this point onwards... sizzling...

on the left, a nice 'windows xp wallpaper' greeny grassy slope with a backdrop of bluey blue sky and cottony white clouds... on the right, there i am, under the hot sun... ok, lets go on!

now i know why people bring flowers when visiting friends in hospitals... cuz, by looking at flowers, it makes people happy... and i just happily snap these flowers that i don't even know their names... and these are the flowers we see everyday along roads, but never realise they can be so pretty... enjoy the next few picts i shot...

and this one is one of my fav... it looked like a star with a perfect blend of purple and white...

nope, its not the end yet... its not even halfway... keke

love the silhouette of this dying tree on the grassy slope... thou dying, it looked strong and steady up there... i must be strong too, its already 1 hour passed, and the road ahead seems so endless... i must... be strong... 还有多远啊~~~~

its not lifeless over the railing wor... on the banks of the canal, there are also life. so i jumped over the railing to take these shots... and too bad, the kingfisher and white cranes shy shy, they flew away before i can get close enuff for a shot... :P

yes, i reached the end of the canal le... thats around 2 hours of walking... wow, from here can see our neighbour country's power cable wor... alrighty, guess what? another 2 hours to walk back... :P

oh, still got a lot of photos lor... keke...

now i decided to take some insect photos...

first up, the most difficult insect to shot... the dragonfly...

this little butterfly still quite easy... but the other prettier butterflies just fly fly never stop... except this one lor...

this moth, beetle, whatever it is, is the most 乖 one... it just kind of stuck there, not moving, even my camera is very very the close to it... i think it smiled at the camera somemore...

on the way back, picking up some more flower shots that i missed out...

suddenly, sounds of thunder can be heard from behind... luckily i'm almost reaching civilisation... phew...

and i seriously feel, the person who did this, is really stupid lor...

finally, no more photos... see, i warned you...

but looking at the google earth map, i calculated 5km from my starting point at A to midpoint B, then to endpoint at C... 3 hours...

now, feeling so tired... gonna have an early nite and a deep deep sleep later...

and i'm red like a lobster... :P
