darn the black line...

yo... had been quiet for a few days... had nothing muchie to blog except my boring and tiring work over the past few days and so, better dun bored my readers... and my lumix was in the repair center, and so, no picts to show... so lor...

anyway, last thursday 10am, gotten a call from joelle when i'm at office, and she told me she is seeing black black... meaning she is blacking out... gosh, and so, rushed back home and thank god, she is ok le... and because of that, cw postponed this sat's work... and so, we get to go gai gai today... :P

went for my haircut today... gotten a short haircut... was feeling tired everyday and the long long hair made me looked even more tired... so i guess, a short haircut would make me looked a little less sleepy bah... and the head feels lighter too... keke...

and then, we went to imm to collect my repaired lumix... it not free lor, cost me $151 to get it repaired... it would be free if it only required lens alignment... but... the lens is damaged and thus the replacement.... took lotsa pictures today, and so, please bear with me again, cuz gonna load lotsa pictures... and to my horror, it turned out the lens is not properly aligned!!! there is a black line on every photo! darn! tomolo got to go back to imm and send in the camera again... panasonic repair center sucks... those guys never do QC one ah??

joelle is making megan a spokesbaby for fox... really like this flowery dress of hers... plus a little jacket too...

and after collecting my lumix, we headed to... you guessed it, fox again... joelle really eager to buy a hat for megan...these are the only 2 shots we got before megan got frustrated with the try-hat-on-my-head thingy... i guess she don't like to wear hats... but she looks so cute in this leh...

did i mention its a darn hot day?? and hey, look, my short haircut... keke... and grrr... the darn black line... kaoz...

after this, we are meeting joanne, joey and teresa at orchard for high tea... and since taking a cab seems really ex, joelle insisted taking the train... and so, little megan's first long distance train ride... :P

and megan's obsessive camwhoring parents... us! and darn the black line...

right after that, megan started crying... we tot she is hungry (as it was around her feeding time) and joelle made milk milk for megan... it turned out megan doesn't want her milk and kept crying... and there is this stupid woman who started telling her little boy, who sits beside us, "oh, 妹妹 cry le... last time you breastfeeding thats why you don't cry cry when drink milk milk..."

BBBBBBBee-yatch leh... si bei du lan... thank god she alight fast enuff before i diao her... and it turned out, little megan wants a little carrying... the train is so bloody crowded with people and thats why she's uneasy... hmmm, 跟老爸一样, 不喜欢人多的地方... come come, take a shot with daddy... nice... but, grrrr... darn the black line...

after that, little one dozed off...

finally, the venue of our high tea... the meze bar at meritus mandari hotel... a very cozy place with really nice food... and nice waitresses wearing cheongsam with really high cut... of course, dear, i'm not looking at their legs... :P

ok, very edgy... guess she is pretty pissed over not able to sleep peacefully...

 

managed to put her to sleep... its pretty easy thou... just need to carry her in her preferred position, hmmm her fav song, and there she goes, to dreamland...

this is lycia, joanne's baby girl... she so lovely and is still pretty afraid of me wor... but i learnt, she loves that barney song... haha, 有把柄哦! keke...

as we chatted on, we decided to have some coffee. and since the buffet is over, we need to order and found out, 1 cup of coffee cost $15++... kaoz... don't think the 4 guys on the next table drinking the 4 cups of coffee know the price... haha... and of course, we didn't order lah!

as for megan, she sleep wake sleep wake sleep wake until she got really frustrated and started emo liao... even in this cozy place under this cozy lightings, megan finally 发脾气了... and so, we got to call it a day le...

To Panasonic Customer Service Center,
Recently 6th June 2008, I sent in my Lumix FX33 for repair via Best Denki (IMM).
My camera was accidentally dropped and the lens has to be replaced after Panasonic confirmed the parts to be replaced.
This afternoon 14th June 2008, I collected my camera and everything seems ok when i switched on the camera.
When i got home to download the images, to my horror, there is a black line on every picture and obviously it is the lens is not being aligned properly during the repair. It wasn't obvious on the LCD display but very obvious in every picture i took... look at the attached... there is a black line at the right side of the picture.
I'll be sending back my camera to Panasonic tomorrow again for repair via Best Denki (IMM)..
My complain now, and is expecting a reply from Panasonic, on why isn't any QC performed on the repair?
The defect is not a minor defect that is only visible to the eyes of a expert.
Being a reputable company, who claimed "commitment in providing products and services", such defect after a repair is really disappointing.
