on a sunny morning,

our usual route from our place to megan's nanny looks something like this... a very straight forward route... and only 10 minutes of walking...

 

and this morning, we woke up and saw that the sky is kinda black black... so we quickly got ourselves ready to get megan to her nanny's place before the rain started pouring... just as we are about to leave the house... BANG! a loud thunder... and came the pouring rain...

so LL, we put megan in her pram and cover it up with the pram-rain-coat... so, off we go! after walking for a few minutes, we decided the rain is too heavy to continue the usual route, so we got into the hdb and hit our first road block... no shelter, no ramp, lotsa road kerbs... so we turned back to go thru the covered carpark and hit another road block... if we cross at this junction, there is no shelter for at least another 20m... and so, we took the last detour and finally reached the nanny's place... our usual 10 minutes walk became a 30 minutes walk... kaoz...

 

coming to think about it... the yew tee council should make more covered walkways along the road wor... this is our first walk in the rain with megan... and then only we found out, how inconvenient our area is...
