the "hate us for having cute babies" gang

the meeting of bernice and megan... had been talking about it since last week when emily (joelle's colleague) organised a gathering at her place... judy, joey and eling were kinda 'demanding' joelle to bring megan cuz it's quite some time since they last seen megan... pssst, i'm also being asked to bring megan to my office too... :P

anyway, last nite, i was on duty and fed megan at 3am+ and since then, i couldn't go back to sleep... and surf net play game till 8am... made myself coffee and watched the last few episodes of LOST season 4... and at the end of the show... i'm still feeling lost... why don't these shows come to an end??

and... megan is ready to go... all nicely bathed and dressed...

however, she don't look very pleased thou... then only i realised, we over-dressed megan... it was a darn hot afternoon to be dressed with a jacket lor... no wonder megan face black black...

face black black but still look pretty thou... keke...

 

and... we're the first to reach emily's place... (we were showing good time management examples for megan mah)... so, before the rest of girls arrive, we better 'treasure' some quantity time for ourselves... keke... the pretty mummies with the pretty babies... joelle, megan, bernice and emily.

getting the babies to pose for a shot... megan is so used to seeing a black lumix camera in front of her... but not bernice yet... she still need some warming up... dun worry, i'm pretty sure she will get really 'warmed up' towards me... keke...

found this huge mirror at emily's bedroom and 5 of us did a "doing the karen cheng" thingy... and stupid me... didn't realise my head kanna 'chopped off'... or maybe, i'm too tall... hee...

oh well, still haven't warmed up to me yet...

and... the rest of the baby-snatching gang arrived... here's judy, whose wedding is around the corner... and sooner or later, i'm expecting an additional member to this newly formed "hate us for having cute babies" gang...

and i'm holding 2 more registration form to our gang with teresa and eling's name pre-printed on the form... just need their signature... and the date... :P

now who says cute babies don't cry?? once again, megan cried... i can't confirm why but only to wonder if its any of the following:

1. she is feeling uncomfy because she is feeling very hot?

2. overwhelmed by the crowd?

3. unfamiliar environment?

the one thing i'm sure of is, her tears are for real, and she need soothing... and thank god, its much easier to soothe her as compared to last time... lets cross fingers and hope situation improves as time passes...

and sweety bernice watched and wonder if she can just give megan her own fav ball to soothe megan... but then again, its her own fav ball wor... 怎么办呢? keke...

nevertheless, when megan settled down, the ladies got themselves settled down to chat and gossip and i got pretty much nothing to do but to take pictures lor... say cheese... or rather, say "hate us for having cute babeeeeessssss"

and so, our lunchie... pizza!

while we dig in, bernice got to entertain herself by crawling around eating baby biscuits...

and megan... can't crawl and so, stuck on the chair, previously used by bernice... luckily got this pinky chair...

i had a quick few pieces of pizza and played with bernice...

finally, she is warmed up towards me le...

such sweet smile... we dun call ourselves the "hate us for having cute babies" gang for nothing wor...

when megan sleeps, bernice is wide awake... and when bernice naps, megan wakey... alright then, darling, your turn to snap snap...

put megan on her tummy and snap this great shot... :P

joey decided to join the fun, but then, megan seems pek chek already...

haa... joey looked so disappointed... dun worry lah, its not that megan dun like you lah, she is hungry already... and since everyone leaving, we stayed on to feed megan... and after feeding, megan dirtied her nice dress with puked milk and we got her to change... and then slowly... eventually... little one naps again...

as i said, megan naps... bernice wakes... and there she was, entertaining herself in her cot... and looked so happy when we came to her...

this time round, a successful 'doing the karen cheng' shot... with bernice...

and not long after, just as we're about to set off to joelle parents' place, megan woke up and we 'borrowed' bernice and took this shot... hmmm... 4 seems like a good number... haa, what the hell am i thinking... not at the moment, dude...

okie dokie, a goodbye shot before saying goodbye... the 2 babies seems reluctant to part wor... till the next gathering then... we got a growing "hate us for having cute babies" membership to maintain wor... many thanks to emily for organise a fun-filled gathering... :)

a loong day for us... i got to get some sleep now... zzzzz...
