WHY SO SERIOUS?

our last rest day, where most people returned to work on monday... its so great to have 4 rest days in a row... and today, baby sitter is back from her vacation and we'll be sending megan over and have some time for ourselves... starting with a movie, shopping and haircut...

last nite, i got really tired and dozed off while reading my story book... and joelle took over the nite shift... and this morning, joelle secretly took a shot of us sleeping... aiyo... and joelle challenged that i wouldn't dare to post this... says who? btw, we do look lovely sleeping together eh? don't we? :P

and after sending megan to her baby sitter, we had our bfast and getting all ready to go out and have time for ourselves... look at the pair of devilishly griming parents... oh well, there is time to work, there is time to play right? this is the time for us to... you know, relive the pa-tor days...

 

today we are catching the dark knight movie... thinking back, i've seen all the batman movie series from michael keaton to val kilmer to george clooney and now, christian bale... the new series of dark knight portrait a batman that is more 'human' than the previous sequels, that i feel is better... i meant, nowadays superheros are no longer preferred as 'mr nice guy'... a little touch of humanity and weakness, make it more... emotional... and of course, late heath ledger made the joker came alive! the movie had a great start... kinda slow in the middle... and too rush when coming to the end... dun really like the ending for two-face thou... anyway, as the tagline goes... WHY SO SERIOUS?

and saw this cutie wall-e robot outside the cinema... another great disney animation coming soon...

after the movie, we went for a bite and shop around before heading to bt.timah for our haircut... finally convinced joelle to cut short her hair... bot, bob, bod... whatever it is called... i would refer it as 张韶涵 style... joelle's so happy with her new look...

and i got a short haircut too... dun we look younger now, as compare to the shot we took this morning? ok... my face do look a little... omg... shouldn't have so much kfc... :P

oh well, can't seems to stop myself from buying red wine again... i meant, i was so drawn to the cheap $15.90 price tag on our fav kangaroo ridge that i was almost jumping with joy at carrefour... and joelle can only say "buy lah buy lah..." and since she said 2 'buy lah'... i bought 2 bottles... :P

  

now... there is something different with the kangaroo ridge i bought and the one we had previously... luckily i do keep empty bottles to keep track of the merlots we had... oh, the year is different lor... wonder how different the taste would be... gonna find a 'good day' to open it... :)

and we bought a zojirushi thermo flask, and some toys for megan...

she seems to like it... but then, started throwing them away... then we realised, she is hungry and she wants milk... not toys... :P

okie dokie, we had a 难得的一天... and should make more time for ourselves in future... even thou having time for ourselves, we keep talking about megan the whole day... oh well... parenthood... :P
